Eduardo Ildefonso

Psychotherapist
Eduardo Ildefonso, LMHC-LP is an inviting and empathetic psychotherapist dedicated to providing and creating a welcoming, yet collaborative environment for change and healing. He engages with clients from all walks of life, with a special emphasis and commitment on inclusivity for BIPOC, LGBTQ+, and marginalized people/communities. Eduardo draws from psychodynamic perspectives, cognitive- behavioral (CBT) interventions, and a person-centered approach to facilitate the awareness of how one’s internal world functions, develop skills to take progressive actions, and progress towards living in alignment with their values. He is intentional about attuning to everyone—honoring the nuances of culture, identity, and lived experiences as tools for those he serves. His work encourages clients in their resiliency, their aptitude in processing complex trauma histories and developing positive self-talk/change. In all sessions, Eduardo collaborates with each client to examine identity, relationships, and meaning making of their circumstances while devising skills to combat anxiety, depression, and/or life stages. Eduardo is particularly passionate about working with individuals in self-discovery and empowering them both socially and personally. Clients can expect Eduardo to have an attuned and reflective disposition that serves both the purpose of honoring and validating their presence, and at some point, present a challenge that promotes development. Eduardo strives to create a therapeutic environment that is restorative, affirming, and eye-opening—a place for the clients to feel validated, in control, and valued enough to practice their own authentic living on a daily basis.
