Charles Fox

Psychotherapist
I am a mental health counselor trained at Northwestern University’s Family Institute, where I specialized in clinical mental health counseling using an integrative, evidence-based approach. I work with adolescents, young adults, and adults navigating anxiety, depression, life transitions, identity development, and relational challenges. My approach draws from person-centered, psychodynamic, CBT, and mindfulness-based therapies. Rather than applying a one-size-fits-all model, I tailor treatment to each individual. I aim to create a space that is grounded, collaborative, and engaged—balancing emotional depth with practical tools you can use in your daily life. With a background in the creative arts, I bring an understanding of identity, performance, and self-expression into the therapeutic space. I’m particularly attuned to clients exploring questions of purpose, direction, and authenticity, and I work to create an environment where you feel both supported and meaningfully challenged. I have clinical experience in both school-based and outpatient settings, working with children, families, and adults across diverse backgrounds. My goal is to help you build insight, resilience, and lasting change over time.
